As a nervous flyer anyway, I have to say that I was sceptical about going on what was a smaller plane than I had ever been on before. This was a very much up and down experience, quite literally as terrible conditions led to air pockets and turbulance on our return flight. This was handled perfectly by the pilots and that was perhaps the most impressive part of the whole Air Malta experience. Myself and my partner were flying out to get married (see profile pic) and we were obviously very excited, but unfortunately this was tainted by the thoroughly miserable cabin crew who, when we tried to enter into some banter, were bordering on rude. There were no complimentary ... Read the complete review

I recently flew to Malta using Air Malta. Air Malta fly to 36 destinations from their base at Malta International Airport. About 5 or 6 of them are or to from the UK. I flew from Gatwick Airport On both flights a free meal was included, a small complementary drink which could be alcohol if you wanted it, free headphones and then either tea or coffee. The food wasn't amazing, it didn't look great so I didn't even bother trying the cooked meal. But the crackers, roll and pudding was enough to fill me up for the three hour flight. There was plenty of legroom and the the plane was clean from what I saw. The staff seemed nice. The ... Read the complete review

I travelled with Air Malta from Manchester to Valetta. The journey both ways was on time and I had no major complaints. Check in was quick and efficient, but on departure we did ask to be seated next to a window and together, only to find we had been given two aisle seats. This was solved by changing places with another couple who had both been given window seats!! On our return flight we made sure our request was understood, but when we double checked that one was a window seat we found we had been given an aisle seat again. The check in assistant was very helpful and re-allocated our seats so we could sit together, one with a window seat. ... Read the complete review

Imagine leaving your husband behind in Catania waving goodbye and expecting to see him arrive in London 2 hours after you on another flight not Air Malta of course which was the flight I had on Saturday 26th August Catania to London. The flight was bang on time the plane spotless the food excellent and the staff absolutely lovely helpful professional and smart. The pilot actually kept us informed of our flight path too and for someone who had flown 50000 miles this year all the way to the Costa Rican rain forest and New York @ Miami to me Air Malta was the most professional and I actually enjoyed the flight although I had come to dislike flying after a very turbulant ... I must begin this op by stating that I am probably one of the world's worst travellers by any mode of transport. I can get travel sick on a bus to Romford, and that is only 6 bus stops away! I feel travel sick watching a boat on the television, let alone being on one! And as for flying...well, I just would not do it! Then I took myself in hand, and decided that if I wanted to visit places in other parts of the world then I would just have to force myself to fly. I began in a small way... a 15 minute trip from Lands End to the Isles of Scilly. I managed this 4 times, then embarked on big time flying: London Stansted to Glasgow! 40 minutes! WOW..I had arrived! ... Read the complete review
