A nice airline (Air Malta)

I recently flew to Malta using Air Malta. Air Malta fly to 36 destinations from their base at Malta International Airport. About 5 or 6 of them are or to from the UK. I flew from Gatwick Airport

On both flights a free meal was included, a small complementary drink which could be alcohol if you wanted it, free headphones and then either tea or coffee.

The food wasn't amazing, it didn't look great so I didn't even bother trying the cooked meal. But the crackers, roll and pudding was enough to fill me up for the three hour flight.

There was plenty of legroom and the the plane was clean from what I saw. The staff seemed nice.

The tickets were pretty cheap next to the other airlines, but I expect that that was mainly because Malta Bargains must get a small discount on flights they sell via Air Malta. There weren't any tickets, all you had to do was to show your passport and they used that to check you in.

Both flights were slightly late, which was the only disappointing part of the flights.

The flights were both very smooth minus a few minutes of heavy cloud over London, the landings were good despite the rain coming back to Gatwick Airport.

As for Malta itself, visually the island is amazing but the Palm Court Hotel in Qawra is the worst hotel ever. Don't order your hoilday from Malta Bargains because they are nothing but scammers.
