Advantages: Cheap
Disadvantages: Cheap = Bad
I recently travveld to Malta via Air malta. The plane inside was very tatty and generally grubby. There wasn't any sort of entertainment - either radio or TV so we sat there for nearly 4 hours reading the in flight mag or just staring ahead. The meal was very basic and not very tasty. the only consulation was that drinks where free so we all could get tipsy. The staff spent the entire journey just running up and down - they needed another pair of hands. We had a first class (alledgedly) on our flight - the seats where about 1" wider and you had about 2" more in front but still no entertainment and more staff to look after you. All in all I have been on many different airlines and I didn't rate this one very good at all.

- 24/07/00 Wow. My experience with Air Malta was good... I guess it goes to show that there are always 2 sides to every story... |

- 07/07/00 Glad I flew on Concorde after reading this report! YOu would have thought Air Malta would have made an effort when you are travelling to their country. Jaspar Grigson (I think that was his name) was on Radio 2 at the beginning of the week. He was talking about complaining properly. It's no good being cross with the stewardess about something that is not her fault - write to the chief executive of the airline was his advice. That way, something might be done about it! |
