Air NamibiaNewest Review: ... thick lump of cheese, and a coke! Needless to say that they soon realised their mistake when it all returned to them - with interest. Do they not teach them at training school that air sickness can be alleviated by sipping ginger beer and NOT EATING! The pilot thought he was a cowboy and was determined to use the turbulence and the strong winds at Windhoek (it's not called windy corner ... more |

I have been a frequent flyer to South Africa over the last 7 years. I used Air Namibia once and will never fly with them again! The food was average and the entertainment system comprised of those screens that drop down from the ceiling - so we all get to watch the same film. I settled in to watch the film and each time it started to get interesting another fault developed and it would be shut off and replaced with the planes journey screen. Added to the cramped seating and a pilot who was determined to use the wind to get the plane to do as many twists and turns, ups and downs as possible - it made for an unforgettable experience for the wrong ... Last year I flew from Cape Town - Windhoek - Swakopmund (surface) Walvis Bay - Cape Town, on Air Namibia. Ground handling on departure from the brand new Cape Town airport was chaotic. First we were told that no seats were available due to an aircraft change which had 'just' happened. I wasn't born yesterday and they would have known about the aircraft change when it left Windhoek - at least two hours before. This didn't solve the problem for me as I wanted to be on the flight, regardless of what ... Read the complete review

So I set off to Heathrow very excited but also nervous. 1, because I hate flying and 2, because the tube in London was playing up (I know that's not unusual). But with relief I made it to the airport on time. Checked in my baggage and went to the departure lounge. The plane seemed very new, and probably at this stage most nervous passengers can relate with me, that these things are taken into consideration when you fly. At about this stage I found out that I had ... Read the complete review

Air Namibia is one of the best airlines I have ever used in my life. I really wasn't sure whether I should go with an airline that I hadn't heard of before, but after some extensive research into the company I was assured that this would be a nice pleasant airline! As you can probably tell, this is the airline that takes you to Namibia - the best holiday that I have ever had I reckon! But every holiday, when you go by plane is always partly on the aeroplane! For staters, you can visit the website for this, but I cannot remember it off the top of my head so I'd recommend using search engines like yahoo or ask.co.uk. The flights were very ...
