The Happiest Airline There Is. (Air Pacific)

Advantages: Service with the biggest smile.

Disadvantages: The food wasn't incredible, but it was still good.

Air Pacific is possibly the jolliest airline I have ever flown with. We flew from Nadi in Fiji to Auckland in New Zealand, and having been in Fiji for the last 9 days we knew by now that the Fijian people were the happiest and the loveliest people ever.

They all welcomed us on to the flight, but it was a genuine welcome, not the false smile and attempt of a cheery hello you get on so many airlines nowadays. Even their uniform was jolly, with the typical Fijian flowery pattern.

The seats weren't the comfiest, but their service made up for it, and as it was only a three hour flight it didn't matter much anyway. We were able to watch a film, which was quite good quality, as was the food. We flew early in the morning so received breakfast on the plane, the only part of the meal I didn't like was the omelette which tasted a lot like typical plane food; but the rest of the meal was yummy.

We had a good take off and landing, and the pilot was friendly and chatty. They were so lovely we felt sad to leave anything Fijian behind. If you are flying anywhere around the south pacific, definitely take a look at Air Pacific, I guarantee you wont be disappointed.
