Disadvantages: I found them an unhelpful company to deal with

I found the Air Transat customer service to be appallingly poor - They Steadfastly refused to help my daughter switch airports enabling her to board at Calgary instead of Vancouver on a Vancouver - Calgary - Manchester flight - All the reservations clerk would repeatedly say - "it's not our policy sir". If this is the standard of Air Transat customer Service then I will not use them again and I advise others to also look for an alternate company to fly with.

Summary: If companies want repeat business the should have customer service as a top priority

Hi, welcome to dooyoo. I have to ask if you have ever used this airline? The purpose of writing reviews here on dooyoo is to tell everyone about your own experiences of a place, product or service to help other people make wiser consumer decisions - think of it as a giant community of mystery shoppers if you like. This comment is only on one very small part of what the airline offers and it sounds like you personally did not fly with them, your daughter did. If you did not use this service yourself, you don't have the personal experience of fully using the airline, hence the very limited scope of your review and low ratings from readers. Don't worry too much about this now, but do try to pick a subject you know lots about for your next review! :-)
