Newest Review: ... delays or anything like that so I was pretty pleased. One of the most remarkable things about Air Zim is the very generous luggage allowance! Even in economy we were allowed to take 40kgs per person, in as many suitcases as you could carry. This is very generous compared to other airlines I have flown with and it really surprised me. I am a vegetarian so called ahead to book the onflight meals and I actually got them on both legs of the journey (this has alwasy been a problem with other airlines) and the food was ok, it wasn't great but hey, it was airline food and I appreciate that. Air Zim are a big airline but they have recently had to cut back on some routes. They now fly (I think) twice weekly from London Gatwick to Harare, and this is the only route to/from the UK (and the one I took) but they also fly around Zim, and to other places like Victoria Falls and other countries. My return ticket from London cost around £600 including taxes etc and I booked a few months in advance. I didn't really have any problems with the airline, from no queue at check in, to a not full flight, and no delays or anything like that so I was pretty pleased. Air Zimbabwe is a Zimbabwean airline which operates both domestic and international. Domestically it operates in Big cities such as Harare, Victoria Falls, Bulawayo etc. Internationally it operates in countries such as England, China, Egypt etc. However nowadays due to the country's economy corruption the services to other various countries and cities has been limited and some services have been stopped. I used air Zimbabwe once when I went to Zimbabwe for a holiday for three weeks.
