Having used 3 different charter flights to calgary in canada ( a flight time of about 8 hours ), Airtours rates rock bottom. It was the only charter to charge you for headphones, the dearest for bar prices, the only charter not giving a glass of wine with the meal . The flight attendants were generally cheerful and polite. The worst aspect of airtours is the almost compulsory flight delays., Varying from 3 to 8 hours each way, every time.
Perhaps I have been unlucky, but as Airtours is the only charter from manchester I have little choice except to pay double for a schelduled flight. Passengers who arrive in resort from london and who travelled with Brittania or Monarch, had much fewer delays if at all, and were all a lot happier.
I see this service only as a means to an end, and use it as a way to spend a value for money break in the rockies
