Disadvantages: not customer friendly

HORRIBLE AIRLINE> Alitalia provides no customer service. Just try to contact their customer service and you will find that they do not have a published number. They lost my luggage for two days and damaged the suitcase. I called the number that was supposed connect to their Miami airport department for lost luggage. They NEVER answer the phone. They Never reply to messages left. I called every airport office, New York, Newark, Chicago, Boston and Miami. The phone was not answered at any airport over a period of 3 WEEKS.. It is obvious they have no interest in dealing with customers except to sell tickets. You cannot contact their administration to complain. They not only don't care but make it impossible to even complain .I won't say they are the worst airline in the world because their are worse in Africa but I would never fly Alitalia under any circumstances.By the way I flew what they consider business class. The food was horrible. The equipment was antiquated. Sound system unlistenable.
