Advantages: Ample Leg room, edible food brilliant!!!

Disadvantages: They dont do short haul flights in europe!!!

After flying by first choice to palma and having a terrible experience, we decided when we booked to go to New York we would fly with a better airline.
I cannot fault American Airlines we were asked if we would like a window seat when booking our tickets which is always nice to have the option.
Once boarded onto the plane we were given a pack with earphones, a blanket and a small pillow even though our flight was a day time flight.
We were on a 8-9 hour flight and recieved 2 meals which were nice compared to the usual unidentifiable food you get served on a plane we also recieved a snack pack which contained crisps a chocolate bar and some crackers inbetween our 2 main meals which was quite a nice surprise.
The drinks were all overpriced as they always are on flights but when eating you were offered a drink of your choice so you didnt have to have tea/coffee you could have a can of drink which was also quite a nice touch.
You also have your own T.V monitor in front of you in the head rest of the chair infront, brilliant no more stiff necks trying to see the picture on a small tv screen 5 rows in front of you!! The choice of films was also quite good all up to date titles there was one film on show that hadnt been released in the UK at the time we were flying, you could also watch which ever film you wanted.

Summary: Definately worth the money!!
