I flew with BMI Baby from Birmingham to Glasgow two months ago. It was the first time I had used the airline and I only chose as it happened to be going to and from my required destinations and it was cheaper than the train (although only just). BMI have one of these dreadful rules whereby you have to pay extra for pretty much everything you want ... Read the complete review

bmybaby: Beware: I reserved flights Cardiff-Alicante return. At Cardiff the check-in lady told me that down loaded boarding passes are not required for passengers with baggage to check in as she would print new Boarding passes. On our return at Alicante airport I explained that I had no boarding passes as I had no printer, so I was told to wait. ... Read the complete review

I recently flew with BMI Baby for the first time from Manchester Airport. I found the service to be of excellent quality and was very pleased with my experience from start to finish. On arrival at the airport I found check in to be quick and easy. Our bags were checked, tagged and sent down the conveyer belt and after a quick check of ... Read the complete review

BMIBaby credit card
Don't touch it with a barge pole!! Having just qualified for my 'free flight' I checked availability. Nothing, zero, nada...unless I want to go to Newquay in January! In addition, even if I could find a flight - it's not free, all the taxes, charges, add ons etc are still payable. It's a complete hoax and a rip off. You are better choosing a credit card for it's rate / cash back etc and then get a genuinely cheap flight with Ryanair. If you have a problem the the customer service centre is in Delhi / Bombay....oh and it's 65p a minute to speak to anyone there.
Unfortunately there is no option for a zero star rating...because that's what BMIBaby deserve!

I have just returned from Ireland having flown both to and from Ireland West Knock Airport with BMI Baby. I had won a competition which was recently promoted in Manchester Airport and the prize included flights, accomodation, transfers and food. Obviously, I was very pleased at winning this prize, howeve I became very apprehensive when I found ... Read the complete review

I have only travelled with BMI baby once and doubt I will ever again. I searched prices via a compare website and opted for BMI baby as their return flight from Manchester to Malaga came out the cheapest, howver this was not actually the case. Firstly, I was charged almost the same as the flight cost to to take luggage and secondly i was ... Read the complete review

BEWARE : the BMIBABY hold luggage standard size is smaller than that of RyanAir / Easyjet etc.. so although you may be used to your regular hold luggage going on other flights without problems, BMIBABY will charge you £30 for the pleasure of carrying it ! If you do online checkin, you will only realise this once you are at the boarding ... Read the complete review

If you are planning to travel with this airline, beware; they may appear to be cheap and suitable for people on a budget but their prices are very deceiving. You have to pay a premium to check in at the airport (3.99), as opposed to checking in online. Now, the only way you can check in online is if you aren't checking any bags so if your going on ... BMI Baby are probably the best of the no-frills airlines. We've taken many flight with them from East Midlands airport in Nottingham, and we've always found them to be superior to Easyjet in a number one ways. One is that if you ask for a glass of water, they bring you one - for free - without fuss or question. I was absolutely appalled to be told ... Read the complete review

So you've chosen your destination. You've even chosen your accommodation. But how do you choose which airline to get you there? Basically, you have two options: you can simply play it safe with a good old reputable firm such as BA, or you can take a chance, save yourself a few pennies (which could be better spent on a few holiday cocktails), and ... With all the rising fuel prices this summer, finding a return flight from our holiday was hell! The only airline appearing to be flying from Dalaman - Glasgow, were Thomas Cook. We were overjoyed when we saw they were operating flights - but we were crushed when we say the prices. £500 for a one way flight? I thought, "They have to be having ... Read the complete review

We recently flew with Bmibaby from Manchester to Malaga for a week's holiday and had a great experience with them. We booked the flights several months before and so got the flights at pretty reasonable prices for the month of July. We chose Bmibaby as their prices were coming out cheaper than the other airlines like Jet2 and Monarch ... Read the complete review

I become a nervous wreck when it comes to flying. Usually when I go on holiday I go to the doctors before and get myself some Diazepam to calm my nerves. I was then asked to attend a business trip abroad which was a great opportunity, but was terrified wen I found out that I would be flying alone and couldn't use my Diazepam, as I ... NEVER EVER, EVER, BOOK A FLIGHT WITH BMIBABY.
They pitch their prices fairly low then, should you need to change any detail later they will charge you the FULL PRICE of the flight at that time. I tried to change the name on a £50 flight I had already paid for due to a death in the family at Christmas. I was told to pay more than an extra £200 if I wanted to make a name change.
It's a disgraceful robbery of customers' goodwill without a shred of care or compassion.
Book with EasyJet or another carrier that doesn't have such a disgusting, thieving policy.

I flew with BMI Baby on a recent flight from Birmingham to Amsterdam. I had not flown with them in the past, but had used most of the other low-cost carriers so I knew what to expect. I was neither suprised or dissappointed. The staff were friendly and polite, and there was little to no check-in time. The plane was in good condition, and of good ... Read the complete review

A couple of years ago I wrote a review on BMI British Midland, who I frequently flew with on trips down to the island of Jersey from Leeds Bradford to see some close family members. As someone who lives in London, I often find myself spoiled for choice of different airlines flying to the same destination. And in this case it's all comes down to value for money, customer service and convinience offered by competitors. I fly quite often both for buisness and pleasure. I have flown BMI shorthall about 8 times so ... Read the complete review
