Advantages: The service you recieve

Disadvantages: Small planes can become cramped and painful

British Airways has to be one of the best airlines in the world, and it a great way to represent this country all around the world. Whenever I need to go on a long haul flight, particularly America, this airline is only my first choice, and over the years, I have flown with them on multiple occasions. They are great.

When I do fly with them, I will find the odd thing that I dont like, but nothing major. However one of the worst things that they do do, is that when they operate short haul flights, their planes are much smaller than their other international aircraft. Saying that, the service that you get when you are onboard is second to none, and you cant fault it. Their staff are so well trained that they treat you like royalty, and it is a true pleasure to fly with them. Like I was saying before, some of their planes can be a bit cramped, and therefore, you dont get much leg room, which always an issue with most airlines, and it can take a while to become conmfortable. However, when you fly on a long flight, it is a completely different story, and on some flights now you can ever get a bed, but they mostly offer reclining chairs so you can get more relaxation.

The last time I flyed, I found the inflight entertainment to be amazing. Usually I dont take notice of it as I much prefer to go to sleep when I am flying, but I really enjoyed it. They offer up to date films that you can watch, however, normally, you have to pay extra for the headphones to listen to it. I do know some people who would rather just watch the picture without sound because they dont what to pay anything extra than their ticket, but it doesnt really matter to me.

When it comes down to checking in, it is a different story, eespecially at major airports such as Heathrow and Gatwick. As a result of British Airways being such a popular airline, they are huge numbers of people trying to check in, the queues can become quite lengthy, but as sson as that is over, its a smooth ride into the departures lounge, as security doesnt take that long, which is worry if you think about it. My overall opinion of this airline is brilliant, and I always recommend British Airways to anyone who is looking for a decent airline to fly with. Of course the prices are exactly cheap, but you get what you pay for. If you are looking to fly long haul with British Airways, then my suggestion would have to be, pay the little extra an go business class, you get much more for your money, and all your inflight entertainment and meals are included in the prices, so there are no extra costs. Happy flying.

Summary: A true airline. And its british. At least we can do something right for once.
