A Flight with British Airways. (British Airways in general)

Advantages: Good check in, arrived on time and pretty comfortable.

Disadvantages: Having to get up to get your own drinks and disturb passengers.

Last year, I used British Airways twice to travel to JFK, New York. The first time we went, we did not fly out of Terminal 5 as it was not open. We checked ourselves in online 24 hours before the flight. This was the first time I had ever done this, having not flown for a few years. It was great, we got to pick our seats, instead of having them allocated to you when you check in at the desk.
On the day of the flight, we just went in and had to check in our luggage for the flight and could then wander through security and wait for the okay to board. Upon boarding, we went through all the good seats ( Business and Premium Economy class) before arriving at our own seats. A bit annoying, seeing the good stuff and not being able to use it. During the flight, the stewards/esses came round to give us our meals, which were typical airline food really. I couldn't eat all of it as it was pretty disgusting stuff and didn't have a lot of choice. After coming round once to give you a drink, you then had to go to them to get drinks afterwards, which meant disturbing other passengers.
The flight arrived on time though and a good holiday was had by all.

Summary: It is Okay, bit like the hotel, it's only one part of your holiday.
