Disadvantages: Uncaring staff, dirty planes

There was a time when i would fly nothijng but British Airways, as with nothing else it was reliable and if there was a delay, they would inform you and try and make you as comfortable as possible. Over the years, the service seems to have declined and they just don't care anymore. I still fly British Airways as the competition is even worse but if i have a choice of a good Airline, i would definately choose them over BA. Club class to Italy (and i'm assuming the rest of europe as well) is in my experience a waste of money.
The staff seam to have no drive and really don't care. I sent my son on Skysolo traveler two weeks ago and the children's lounge was absolutely disgusting. I payed an extra £32 per trip in order that he may be accompanied at all times by British Airways staff and he would get use of the 'comfortable' children's lounge. In future, i shall pay for myself and buy a ticket to accompany my child as he was a nervous wreck by the time he reached Italy.

When i complained, i got a four line letter full of excuses.

Summary: If there was a choice, i wouldn't go with them.
