Great BA Service London to Sesattle (British Airways in general)

Advantages: Journey was completed with the usual good BA service

Disadvantages: The inflight food whilst good the bread role was hard

I travel regularly with my Job and find myself spending more time in airports, standing at check in lines, boarding planes and waiting for my luggage than I do with my family, so I thought I could comment on my journey giving an indication on the kind of service you may come across on your own travels.

I travel regularly to Seattle from London Heathrow a flight time of nine to ten hours each way. my review will comment on my most recent journey which took place on Wednesday the 2nd of September.

The ticket was purchased the week before by our travel department through the website and the e ticket arrived in my inbox within the stipulated timeframe.
BA used to have travel shops which were perfect for travellers who wanted to put a face to the Airline unfortunally the shop in Bristol closed down a number of years ago but I believe London my hold a number of there outlets.

At 10am when I was due to check-in the departures was busy and the strain could be scene on the BA staff as they tried to get people through as quickly as possible.
All Credit to the staff member who dealt with my ticket as she was smart and courteous and efficiently ensured I had the requested window seat
I am on of those people who like a window seat but gets board at looking at clouds for 9 hours straight so usually closes the blind and uses the balk head to sleep

I find the long haul BA flights to the West Coast usually leave on time and to my satisfaction this flight was one of them

I was flying on the new Boeing 777 and even though the ticket was economy each seat had its own in-flight DVD unit offering the chance to watch a number of films and TV shows which change on a regular basis.

The food served is usually good with a small salad, bread role with butter, a hot dish which on this occasion was some kind of cooked chicken in a mushroom sauce and a small desert.

I am one of those people who also enjoys BA in-flight food, on these long haul flights I usually eat as slowly as possible anything to make time pass quicker.

The flight entailed the usually food, drink service and in-flight goods for sale, all presented by a number of flight attendants who were keen and on a number of times engaged with the customers including members of the public with children bringing colouring pens and pencils on request.


After filling out the usually paper work visa waver form we landed ahead of schedule into Seatac airport

In conclusion

I have always found BA to be efficient, kind and curious in there dealing with myself and through my experience hold BA as one of the best customer service airlines in the world. This review was taken from my trip to Seattle so as an airline as a whole I would expect similar service on all there other routes I would be interested to hear from people with similar of opposing views
