Advantages: good movies, polite aircrew
Disadvantages: small seats, no leg room
I recently flew from London to Florida on the Boeing777 with British Airways and unfortunately I have to say it was of a very poor standard.
The seats were very uncomfortable and there was barely room to move you legs, and I'm 14!
The seats seem to have some sort of hole at the back of them where you kept sliding into, other people on the plane found this and said it was very difficult to get any sleep on such a long flight.
Despite the seating being poor, the inflight entertainment was actually very good and had some great movies on board. The aircrew were very helpful and polite but everything onboard seemed to be squashed into a very small space.
The strange thing was however, that when we flew from Manchester to Gatwick on a small shuttle the seating was brilliant with big and spacious seats!
What are Ba playing at-small seats on 9 hour flights, big seats on 30 minute trips?!
I wasn't the only person who thouhgt this as there was an article not so long ago in the Daily Telegraph about the poor quality of Ba on long distance flights. This case is been looked into say British Airways.
I hope I've managed to help some people and advise them not to travel with Ba on long distance journeys-especially on the boeing 777!
