One fateful day back in May, my friend and I booked our flights to Belfast. Little did we know that the entire air traffic control system would malfunction and that instead of leaving at 10:30am, we would leave Heathrow at 1:50pm.

For the three hours before we could leave, we were sat on board the plane. We were fed, watered and smiled at by the lovely air staff (or wifeys as they were renamed at about 11:52am). I think that we would have gone mad if it hadn't been for the staff. They were great.

Unfortunately my friend and I were far too hungover to take advantage of the constant supply of alcohol. This is possibly a good thing though!
