I have flown British Airways several times now, on domestic, European and long-haul routes.

The experiences I have had have been variable - on some occasions they cannot be faulted, excellent service and reliability. However on other occasions they have failed to live up to expectations. This seems to be the case on the long-haul routes as opposed to the short-haul.

I have never been disappointed with the domestic service between Newcastle and Heathrow, which I often use for connecting flights, yet on the long-haul, higher fare routes the service can be disappointing.

One thing which is excellent across the board however is punctuality - I have always been impressed with their timekeeping.
