I have been flying with British Airways in the last 14 years, primarily for business and also on leisure, mainly using the airmiles I clocked up on my trips. Depending on the year, I did between 15 and 30 return flights on business to the following destination, Lisbon, Madrid, Barcelona, Milan, Prague, Geneve, Rome, Moscow, Johannesburg and few ... After horrible experience with Air-India (see my review about Air-India), I preferred to fly with British Airways this time. I paid around £100 more than Air-India fare for each ticket and I am very happy that I did that. In general, BA is not exceptional with their service, in-flight staff and plane condition. But there is a peace of ... Read the complete review

I booked a round the world ticket with Sta travel and my flights to and from the UK were with BA. It was my first experience of trans-atlantic flights and I really enjoyed the experience. I did find however, that on both planes several of the seats (always mine!) weren't working properly and wouldn't sit upright properly. I was lucky on the ... Read the complete review

To start with I have had several not so great experience in travelling with British Airways so this is really a rant honestly though I have tried to be fair in quoting everything I have liked about the flights in general. I have flown with other companies on long haul and hence have had the chance to comapre and contrast British ... Read the complete review

British Airways - in a word consistent. I have flown with this airline between the UK and South America and the UK and Australia several times. Inflicting a long haul flight upon yourself is generally not a lot of fun, well the first few hours are great but once the cramp, numb backside and general lack of space start to get to you then you begin ... I recently flew to New York with BA in club class. The annoying thing is that you can not prebook your seats until 24 hours prior to departure when you can check in and print off boarding cards from the comfort of your home. It was the first time I have used Terminal Five and I think it is a credit to BA the terminal being open airy ... Read the complete review

British Airways the UK's national airline, that should mean it is excellent and an assest to the UK. And to be very frank in first class it is you are treated like royalty and the food and service is top notch. The cabin environment is excellent and you get plenty of great entertainment and a large seat with all the things you would expect. Wheras ... Read the complete review

The first time I flew British Airways (BA) was in June 2008 when my other half and I flew from Glasgow to London Heathrow T5 for a few days away for our first anniversary. Now, I used to be a very nervous flyer, and although I still don't particularly enjoy flying, I've realised that it is the best and quickest way to get to my holiday ... Read the complete review

After asking several people about their experiences on British Airlines, I'm torn. Half of the people I talk to love the airlines and say it's undoubtedly the best European airline right now. They say the staff was friendly, it's good for London connections and traveling around Europe, and the customer service is particularly helpful. The other ... Read the complete review

My wife and I have always preferred to travel with British Airways - sometimes as many as 3 or 4 trips back and forth to the US per year.
After our last trip to the US at the beginning of June 08 we have changed our minds.
Starting with check-in at Terminal 5 - there was no dedicated area for Club passengers to check in. Why on earth would you pay all that money for Club to be treated like a second class citizen? We were expected to take our place with the rest of the passengers travelling economy - which amounted to 20 others in the line!
On board, food on this trip reminded us of food in economy - the quality and service.
We recently travelled on the same trip UK-LA return with both Air New Zealand and Virgin and frankly our next trip won't be BA!

I have flown with British Airways on numerous occasions and so will share my views on them. The company: British airways is a British company and the national carrier of the UK. They have bases at the majority of the main UK airports including London Heathrow, London Gatwick, Manchester, Birmingham and Glasgow. They operate a ... Read the complete review

I will never fly BA anymore. The customer service is horrible, terrible, and absolutely unreasonable. They changed my flight, and when I asked for my option, the service lady told me I have no other option. If BA told me at least a month ahead of time, I will have enough time to find other option. I found out I paid more booking online. I ... Read the complete review

I am done with BA! I've had to travel with them for business purposes in the past, but our company finally got wise and uses other airlines now. Recently I booked a "leisure" trip to New York with them. What a fiasco. There was a 2 hour delay going out and on the red-eye return we booked (both having to work the next morning) ... I am a silver member of the executive club of British Airways. I used to travel more often with them in the past, I still use them, but I also fly with other European carriers. I recently flew with British Airways on a long haul flight from Europe to Australasia. Of course going on holiday is always nice, but I can just as certainly assure you that long haul flights like that are NEVER pleasant. The rudest customer service I have ever encountered. Our son contracted chicken pox day before flying and was told by BA that he would not be allowed to board. Which is fair enough, but we only got back just over £200 aiport tax on flights that cost £1500. But the worst thing was we were each charged a £30 cancellation fee!
I mean come on, BA are keeping the full fare of our flights anyway and we still have to pay a cancellation fee? on top of the fact they'll still sell our seats on.
We will never fly british airways again.

British Airways used to be the favourite airlines. Is it still the case? I travel a lot for business reasons and I have been to more than 15 countries with British Airways, I currently have more than 400000 airmiles, enough to get 20 return flights to Milan! I think that British Airways have lost something. They no longer ... Read the complete review

I have just returned home from a lovely holiday to Sharm el Sheik in Egypt. My least favourite part of going on holiday is the aeroplane journey, it always seems to take so long and I absolutely hate being stuck in one seat for hours on end but if we want to go and see all these lovely places, then we have to put up with the ...
