I would say that depending on where you are flying there is usually a better option than British Airways. If you have to fly with them, then you will probably have a fairly ordinary, nothing special flight. Short distances this is probably fine, for long haul though i'd really suggest virgin or singapore airlines or another of the big ... Read the complete review

I have flown BA many times on many routes. One of the most notable thing about BA is that the food is always very nice, better than some restaurants. This, combined with comfortable seats (even those in Economy) and friendly service make flying BA a pleasant experience. This is important, particularly on long haul flights. Sure BA is pricey but at ... Read the complete review

BA and there dirty tricks! This airline is nothing special at all. The tickets are over priced and are exploiting the competition. As for the in flight entertainment- what entertainment? In world trveller you get a tiny screen up to 20 metres away and you are expected to enjoy the film. The FOOD- do not get me started. It is plastic ... Read the complete review

Many people moan and groan about BA, but Club class (i.e business class)is fine. You do get treated better and the food is better. The best position is upstairs on a Jumbo. There seems to be acres of room. If you get a chance to fly business class then I would recommend club class on BA. Somehow it feels more business like than the ... Read the complete review

British Airways has to be the best British airline we have ever had and best we will ever have. It has TV's, fully reclinable seats (the only of their kind), Concord and great service as well as plenty of other. Even though British Airways has being going down it is still the best British airline and maybe even the world's best. Having ... Read the complete review

I have flown with at least 7 different airlines now. My opinion is that they are all pretty much the same, with the Far Eastern companies providing the best in-flight services in economy class. Singapore Airlines and Malaysian Airlines provide your own mini-screen, which enables you to choose your own TV programme to watch. Food wise, my best ... Read the complete review

I flew British Airways the other week and they were fine. I had no delays, the staff are always courteous and helpful. I had a ticket error and they fixed it and sent me a replacement by courier ! The plane itself was clean and spacious, and when I arrived at my destination my baggage was first off (bonus) I always fly BA if i can as i have ... Read the complete review

British Airways has gone downlhill for a long time now. Actually they havn't gone downhill more they have stayed the same and everybody else has advanced! Take Virgin they wern't in the business till a few years ago yep I'm sure most people would prefer to fly with them. Most people go on world travler and with almost every other ... I don't think there are many of us who have ever aspired to the position of battery hen, but if you do ever wonder what it would be like, you can always get a small taster (albeit a mile above the ground) by booking yourself onto a BA flight and choosing to fly economy. Oh sorry, I mean World Traveller. It's odd, because ... Read the complete review

There is sometimes a problem with the smaller airlines that you don't know what you are going to get. BA is one of the national institutions of the country, they may not always get it right and they may be facing financial decline but I am always happy to fly with them. When booking a flight you should ask the travel agent which ... Read the complete review

I have trvelled on British Airways several times, mostly long haul to the Far East. The seats are much the same as the other airlines in economy class, the time keeping is OK, but the one thing that makes an airline stand out for me is good cabin service. Unfortunately, most of BA female cabin crew think, because they have a ... Read the complete review

British Airways pride themselves in being the UK's biggest carrier. Undoubtedly this results from them growing up as a nationalised company with the funding and support of UK government. Now, as a privatised airline, under intense competition they must ensure top service to continue to attract their loyal customers. I have travelled BA ... Read the complete review

I don't get BA as a company. They had a really strong image, a lot of assets then they spend a fortune on PR disasters and charge way over the odds. in their favour apparantly they have the best maintained (and therefore safest) planes in the world. This is good and worth extra money but when they are regularly double on some routes all that ... Read the complete review

It is not well publicised, but BA has a whole pile of student discounts on their airfares. You need to get yourself an ISIC (International Student Identity Card) card, for which you have to prove that you are still in education. The ISIC card costs £6 but this cost is more than compensated by just one flight. For eaxmple, the standard BA fare ... Read the complete review

I invariably use British Airways for domestic UK flights, between Edinburgh and London. On this route, their service is second to none. Fifteen minute checkin closure, telephone checkin for hand baggage only, reserved seating, the list goes on. Also with flights approximately every hour, there are plenty of services to chose from. ... Read the complete review

How can one Airline have such a different levels of service? LONGHAUL I am a Qantas Frequent Flyer and therefore travelled with BA quite a lot. When you fly from New Zealand to Europe, half is Qantas, half is BA. It is very noticeable that the legspace is so much less on BA planes...what is this, Brits being smaller than ...
