Advantages: none whatsoever like other air miles options

Disadvantages: a no-winner if you have missing air miles to claim

I just ended a very frustrating phone call with BMI office in England. I am a frequent flyer from Canada with their diamond club card. Looking at my account online, i noticed that some flights had not been credited to me. I filled in their claim for flights and posted it along with my boarding pass and copy of the ticket. After still no response for two months, I called them up a few minutes ago and was told that "there is a fine print that missing air miles can be claimed only within two months of the particular flight". Well, that little sentence is not mentioned anywhere on their entire web page and believe me, I scoured it searching it out. Why give the illusion on the web that air miles can be claimed within a year when the policy is to use all methods, by hook or by crook, to cheat frequent flyers. I definitely dont think that BMI card shines! In fact, it fools!!!
