BMI Diamond club is an excellent scheme and I have redeemed flights to Poland and Germany with no problems on availability. I have just over 200,000 air miles accumulated through BMI and Star Alliance partners and I will be using the points to fund next years holiday

Bonus points can be accumulated by signing up to the various offers an dthey have also a link to a survey company which gets you a couple of hundred air miles extra a month.

Lounges have reduced in number over the years and most experience is with Brussels Airport which is always good for a few beer and a few free magazines.

I am also a member of BA airmiles and I find it useless guess it is becuase I do not fly from London anywhere.

A number of times I have had upgrades on flights because of my silver status so thanks for that
BMI scheme is considered one of the best requiring less flights to accumulate a free flight. Also they regularly offer promotions that give you bonus miles. When this is combined with the 25% bonus you get for having a silver card you very quickly can accumulate free flight

They also offer a number of different ways to earn miles including a credit card which gives you enough miles for a free Europe flight ( plus taxes) as an offer from time to time. Also they have a number of shopping partners where you can earn miles
Overall an excellent scheme and well worth recommending
