Advantages: The best possible start to your holiday

Disadvantages: None

I flew from Manchester to Antigua on BMI's Premium Economy flight last July, and, I have to say, I was very impressed.

BMI have changed their classes from First Class, Business Class, Coach, to Business Class, Premium Economy and Economy, so I was flying the equivalent of Business Class.

This is the best Business Class I have ever flown, the seats are very wide, wide enough to curl up, not that you would need to as a button in the arm rest flods your seat flat, allowing you a bed for the long flight.

You get a goody bag of socks, a pillow, an eye mask and a duvet, complimentary food and drinks and a very hospitable staff.

There are much less people in the compartment, the entire rows only have six seats, a two next to one window, a two in the middle and a two on the other side.

You also have a TV that comes out of one of the arms.

The most comfortable way I have ever travelled, and only costs about £200 more each way than economy. Trust me, save up and treat yourself!

Summary: Upgrade and it will change your life
