Advantages: prebook seating, cheap, good flight times

I have flown from East Midlands to Belfast International Airport three times in the last two years and have chosen bmi British Midland every time. The main reason for this is that I usually travel with a family member who has a disability and like the fact that we can book our seats on-line. The planes are clean and have always taken off on time (dispite having the usual round up of the last couple of passengers who have to be dragged away from the airport bar). The service on board the plane has always been quick and efficient, if sometimes it could have been a little friendlier. I might be the same if working on these short flights but no member of staff has been unhelpful or rude. The flight times suit for a social visit as there are flights leaving East Midlands at lunchtime on the weekends so there doesn't have to be an early start to a holiday.
