Business Class unremarkable (bmi British Midland in general)

Disadvantages: Business Class barely distinguishable from Economy

I flew to Warsaw in Business Class on British Midland. The flight in itself was no problem, nothing fantastic but an entirely adequate european flight.

I got Business Class seats at a heavily discounted price on an online auction, which for the fare I paid represented excellent value (at around half the lowest economy class fare). However if I had paid the full business class fare I would not have been impressed. With the exception of lounge access, a marginally bigger seat and free champagne, there was very little to distinguish between business and economy class - something worth thinking about when considering paying over four times the economy fare.

I would not deter anyone from flying British Midland, they are an average airline providing adequate service, however I could not recommend them as being anything excellent.
