Well, when my father called me from France (i'm French and my parents live in France though i live in London) to tell me that i was going to save soooo much money, i was all ears. "How Dad?", i asked him. He replied: BUZZ.

You see, now BUZZ has a regular flight to Bergerac, i was indeed going to save a lot of money on airfares, considering I fly my two young children to France every 7 weeks during their school breaks. My father even told me how much the flight would cost me on the childrens' next trip. It was an amazingly low price ie. around 69£ return.

First step was to call the BUZZ representatives to make sure my children are allowed to travel unaccompanied like they are with BA. After holding the line for what seems like a rather long time, i was told the devastating news: "NO". My children are old enough to travel unaccompanied with BA but unfortunately, they are too young to do so with BUZZ. We have to stick to BA then, and forget about all this money we were going to save!

I still decided to give BUZZ a second try by booking a flight for the whole family from London to Bergerac for the end of summer. And i was determined to do it online so i could clearly see my options on the screen. Much more convenient that way, and less stressful than holding the phone for ever.

Bad luck with that option as well. I have tried everything, you name it: one date = NO, another date, a later one which would give me more options = NO, different airport of arrival even = NO, and even different number of passengers (never mind, my husband can stay home in London and i'll just go to France with the kids, or even without the kids ON MY OWN!) = NOOOOOOOOO. Nothing was available. I'm sorry BUZZ but if i have to know my exact travelling schedule for the end of year (we're in April) in order to have low cost airfares, it just won't work!!!!!

And the amazing part was, after all thes
e promises that travellers can travel to Bergerac for a low cost, i ended up finding a fare that was just 20£ cheaper than with BA. I made my choice, i deleted BUZZ from my bookmarks on my pc and I/my kids/family will fly BA to France like I/we have for the past three years.
