I have to visit my parents once in a while. They live in Pakistan. Though I can go from the London via too, but I love traveling with Cathay Pacific so much that I always plan my trip via Hong Kong. Though the travel time of 13 hours from SFO to Hong Kong is too long and tiring but the staff of Cathay Pacific tries its best to make your journey pleasant. Cathay Pacific doesn?t fly everywhere I expect them to, but still they fly to most part of the worlds.

Food:

The food is excellent. They are not prepared in traditional Asian style because of the diversity on the plane. They have a western touch to food, which I love. Every meal is accompanied with great quality of wines, beers and juices. Although i have never tasted wine or beer (religious thing) but from the comments of people sitting next to me in the flights I can tell that they taste great. The portion of the food is quite large. I am personally a big eater and when you have beef chunks, fish and well-cooked vegetables in front of you then who can control his appetite. The service is never late and they never ran out of the food. The staff is so cooperative that even if you don?t have a veggie meal with your ticket and you want to get a veggie meal they will try to adjust you and 90 percent of thee time they will get you what you want. They also serve noodles on long flights.

In Flight Service:

This is the best thing of all. I love the way they listen to you and they handle you. I will say that Cathay Pacific stands for politeness and thoroughness while other airlines stand for beauty and charm. The attendants will listen to you and will show you to your seats, will help you put your baggage in the cabins and will serve you with your frequent requests.

Entertainment:

For entertainment you get your personal TV screen. Though the channels are limited but still they are good enough to not let you fall asleep unless you want to.

This is the area where I have had mixed experiences (both pleasant and unpleasant). A few times I have found my bags not in good condition they was a little damage done to them. On some occasions I have found check-in agents uncooperative and rude. Last time when I traveled it took a long time for check in and I had to stand and wait for a while.

Over All Experience:

Over all my experience with Cathay Pacific is excellent. This is one of the best airlines of Asia and also safest because they have not had any incident since 1972. I would totally recommend this airline for anyone who is traveling to Asia.
