Advantages: reliable,
Disadvantages: dont like non us citizens
I have traveled with continental for a good number of years now ,and have seen the company going downhill, loosing a lot of the standeds they were well known for, i suppose its penny pinching and making more profits, but to us ,the flyers ,this is why we choose to fly with them,
the staff have got more too do, but a smile never hurt any one, the cabin service isnt as good , with less on the plate, and none of the drinks every so often on the international flights,or the warm lemon face cloth, have all disapeared, the breakfast is now something out of this world, tastes like plastic and varies between something made of flour, bring back the cereals and the films are terrible half the time you dont get what they advertise, and the music is all loud noise , what happened to the soothing music,
they could save time and money by getting rid of the so called duty free trolly, 1%use by the look of it,
newark airport, all the free newspapers and magazines have now gone and the immigration should be better organised so you dont get all the international flights coming into one centre,at the same time. they could also have interconnecting flights through a seperate chanel
and finally JOIN THE FREQUENT FLYER CLUB, its geared for the u.s.a people not for people from overseas, we can not get enough points/segments in the year, because we dont fly like all the business people in the usa, and trying to get reward flights, (iam laughing away here) no chance, next time i am looking for the cheapest flight not looking to gain points,
Summary: a great firm but they are now looking at profits, and people overseas are 2nd class
