Disadvantages: SOME WILD PASSENGERS WHICH THE STAFF CANNOT OR DOES NOT CONTROL

I regularly fly to Larnaca and Ercan. I have tried Thomson, Thomas Cook, Turkish Airlines and KTHY. I have travelled from Stansted to Ercan or from Gatwick to Ercan or Larnaca with KTHY. The first time I flew with KTHY, I was shocked. Shocked because of the passengers behavior and the staff who did not try to do something. As the plane was just about to land, 1 or 2 minutes away from landing on the tarmac, a family of 4, 2 adults, children ages, maybe around 6 and 10, stood up and started walking towards the exit door. Imagine the plane's nose or front going down and these people moving towards the door to my horror!!! I couldn't believe it, and there were no stewards/stewardess stopping them, but I guess, they were too shocked and felt that it was too dangerous to stand up.

Then on the way back from Ercan to Stansted, I noticed that some of the passengers were boarding the plane by themselves with no staff assistance or checks from the ground staff. They were walking under the wing, which is not supposed to be allowed anywhere else in the world. I have a feeling that, the airline staff have tried to put some order but some of the passengers does not follow orders. I am not sure if they know what is wrong or right or the etiquette of flying but it seems to me that, they do not know the right way to behave or couldn't care less.

I have flown to Larnaca several times as well using Thomson. I find that they are far better than Thomas Cook at the check in counter. They are more organized and the staff are okey. In one occassion, we have been delayed for several hours, about 4 hours to be exact. We got a voucher for a meal which I thought wasn't too bad.

I have tried to use Thomas Cook 3 or 4 times and I have always been dissappointed at the check in staff. The worst are the staff from Larnaca and it is always so chaotic even with the holiday representatives on sight. The cues are always long and the staff are not friendly. I am definitely sure that I will never use them again even though they have offers for cheap flight. I feel that it is not worth all the aggravation and chaos.

Just a few months ago, I flew with KTHY again to Ercan. I booked with them again because I felt that it was comfortable to check in and fly with them and Ercan airport was nearer to my place. There were no incidents that time, and the food portions were small but it was free so I shouldn't complain. The staff were polite and everything went well going and returning. Some passengers were behaving as if they owned the plane but the staff, I cannot complain.

I will be flying again this August with Thomson Fly to Larnaca. I made a mistake with the date and I was supposed to fly 2008 but accidentaly clicked 2009, so we will see if they are still as good as I remember the last time i flew with them.
