... had the misfortune to fly with Eurcypria Airline on 29th July 2008 from Gatwick to Larnaca or rather we did not because we suffered a 24 hour delay.Worse was to follow as we were seated in front of three lads from Ilford who were drunk when they boarded the plane. They also had a large coca cola bottle with them filled with spirits. The steward was heard to say " I know what you have got but I will turn a blind eye if you stay quiet" However they argued amongst themselves nearly coming to blows on several occasions and used foul and abusive language the whole trip. ... booked a flight only to Paphos with Eurocypria Airlines for a holiday between 9th-16th February 2008. It was booked via Olympic Holidays. They took our money (some £667) and we duly received an e-mail confirming the flight to paphos at 10.55a.m on 9th February from Gatwick. A few weeks later we were informed that our destination airport had been changed to Larnaca - some 90+ miles away from our resort in Paphos. We were told it was not considered a major change (it certainly was for us) and that we could not have a refund. We arrived at Gatwick for check-in at 8.55a.m. for our 10.55a.m. flight only to be told there was a 12-hour delay and the flight would not depar...

... reading poor reviews about Eurocypria, I was a bit apprehensive. Flying to Larnaca from Exeter, the plane was late, around 30 - 45mins.. which is not bad.. I like the leather seating, and if you don t sit in row two (very narrow) the leg room is good. The meal was bad, overheated lasagna, (least I think that s what it was !!) cabin staff were professional, not overly friendly. I know we flew at night but it would have been nice to see the route on the overhead screens The return journey was very good. ten mins, late, and the best meal I have ever had on any flight. crew were much the same as on the first journey. 3 stars, I would have rated it 4 if the outg...
