Advantages: Cheap and great when run!

Disadvantages: Cancellations last minute, can't get hold of customer care.

I've flown with Easyjet loads of times, and found them fine, basic but amazing for the money, usually on time give or take quater of an hour.
I was due to fly with my family to Venice from Cardiff last summer. Two weeks before we were out and a message was left, that our flight both ways had been cancelled! We spent over 45 mins on hold to contact them, then were told, basically tough, have your money back or fly from Gatwick the same day at 7am!
We had a hotel booked etc and time off work, so opted for Gatwick, which meant a 5 hour drive, so we stayed in a hotel over night. So we ended up with an extra £150 on the bill.
I emailed and was told (after 2 months !) I could have £40 off another flight if I booked and took the break within two weeks!
Not sure I would risk this again, as I have heard of lots of people cancelled last minute, sometimes stranded abroad! The budget then ceases to be budget!
Such a shame really.

Summary: Great but is it worth the risk of being stranded abroad!

Easyjet offers cheapest flights especially if you book it (on-line, at least a month) early. I had my flight back from Luton to Belfast and unfortunately I missed the flight(I arrived 15 minutes before take-off). I was asked to pay 35 pounds for the next flight on that day. I tried to book the flight on-line (since I had my laptop) for that day to check if it is cheaper than over the check-in counter, I found out that it is very expensive which will cost me 75 pounds. So, I decided to pay over the check-in and wait for the next flight.
