Now that Monarch have announced they plan to stop using Coventry it is back to looking for flights from either Luton, Birmingham or East Mids airport and for the first of these this means using Easyjet a lot ofthe time as they fly to a number of destinations from Luton airport.

Easyjet are a budget airline with the distinctive orange coloured planes and as such they can be very cheap to use but you do not expect much in the way of customer service or flexibility, indeed a friend is off to Madrid today and because the person booking the flight spelt their name wrong on the online booking they basically eneded up paying £90 to ge it changed which was the original cost of the flight.

Booking via th website is really easy to do and you cannot complain about the prices however they have started to try and add as many extras as possible to the cost of your flights, I have used them a few times to fly to Belfast and Scotland and they have always been pretty punctual and for a short flight perfectly ok.

You get an e-ticket when you book and you must ensure you arrive before the check in time as they are quick to close check in which to be honest is perfectly reasonable. No seats are allocated you just sit where ever there is a space.

In flight they are fine, the food is basic and not cheap but you expect that and it is best to eat before you get on board.

Overall given the relatively cheap prices they are a good airline and we use them because they fly from nearby airorts to us which are more convenient than having to go to Heathrow or Gatwick.
