Advantages: Cheap, easy

Disadvantages: no food on board

My Family and I (including 3 year old) have just completed a return journey from Bristol to Geneva.
Whilst not perfect, the experience was pleasant. Check-in and boarding and arrival were all done with the minimum of fuss and the man at check-in was especially helpful as my daughter was having a tantrum at the time because she thought he was taking away her bag for good.
Due to having a small child we had priority boarding and therefore managed to avoid the scramble for seats. I personally don't see what all the fuss is about when it comes to where you sit on a plane, especially on a short hop to Geneva.
The only negative was that the flights was across lunchtime but they had no sandwiches on the plane on either leg of the journey despite having them advertised in the magazine. We had to make do with mini chedders for sustinance.

Summary: positives outway the negatives.

No, I don't understand why people scramble for seats on a plane either.
