Advantages: Relatively cheap flights

Disadvantages: Small seats and not allocated

I have flown regularly with easyjet and on the whole they have proved to be not that bad.I have adopted the approach to expect the worse and then i am genuinely surprised/impressed when it goes well. One of the most regular routes I have taken is the flight from Belfast to Stanstead I have been surpirsed to see how often this flight is delyaed by almost the excact same time(usually 2 hr 30 mins) on a regular basis(3 out last 5 attempts).Easyjet operate a speedyboarding service whereby if you pay a bit extra you get the opportunity to board first.Generally speaking the boarding service is more like a scrum with people forcing thier way forward and abolishing the concept of queueing completely. This is often when your fellow passangers will be at thier rudest. If your fortunate enough to be travelling on your own or dont mind where you sit you can just hold back and avoid any unnecessary stress.I have also noticed in mainland Europe there is little or no notice given regarding any speedy boarding so it would probably be a waste of money.

The seats are pretty cramped but if on a short flight its generally not too bad.I have sat at times next to larger customers and it was a very tight squeeze for them.Easyjet take every opprotunity to sell on board and they provide a decent enough in flight magazine. There is no tv/radio onboard but there are toilet facilites which are small but decent if you cant wait to when you land.

The prices for flights vary.Generally the earlier you book the cheaper you get but this tends to be a maximum of 3 months in advance.

All in all a decent service. They have only lost my bag once and they got it to my hotel within 48 hours which i suppose was better than not getting it at al.It was also a bit damaged at this stage.

Summary: Good way to see Europe

I'll never understand the clamour for seats on Easyjet flights - how embarrassing!
