Advantages: Cheap and cheerful.

Disadvantages: Hidden fees and long delays

We went to Rome by Easyjet. On arrival at Gatwick check-in we were advised that we had to pay for our luggage (£26 for 2 cases - 18 Euros return). I think this is ridiculous! We also had to make a trek to another desk just to pay these scandalous fees.
The return flight was also five hours late. As you can imagine there were a lot of irate customers who were trying to ascertain what was going on with the flight. What I found most concerning is that the airport staff, including the easyjet staff, couldn't cope and some of them even started to lose their tempers with customers. No announcement about the flight was made over the public address system (in either Italian or English).
I think if you are in a job where you can be late returning and not get in trouble or if you cannot be bugged by having to pay for extra items that you would take for granted on other airlines then easyjet is for you. However, it was a painful and agonising experience for myself!

Summary: You get what you pay for!
