Advantages: cheap, good service
Disadvantages: none
Easyjet airlines run low cost flights across many destinations in Europe totalling to 27 countries.
Easyjet was found by Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou in 1995 and has its headquarters in Luton, England. Apparently, over 289 million people use Easyjet carrier within a one-hour drive. Their vision is to be the best low fares airline in the world. They are Europe's 4th largest airlines.
I used Easyjet airlines when we went to Switzerland a few years back. It cost us just £35 per head in economy class. We flew from Luton to Geneva. The check-in was so easy and their service on board was excellent; the staffs were very helpful.
It was a short haul flight but we were very impressed with the quality of service received. The leg room is pretty good.
I do like their website- everything is user friendly. First page itself has a menu to choose the country and language. Once in the preferred country/language of choice- you enter into the page filled with orange graphics. You can book flights, hotels, villa, hostels and car hire. You can check in online. A lot of deals are advertised on the website some according to destinations and some according to months.
I remember when we went to Switzerland; the whole flying experience was so good that we decided to use easyjet everytime we fly to European countries. It's a shame they don't do long haul flights.
Summary: Best budget airlines for the credit crunch times.
