Advantages: Cheap, Efficient, Organised, Good Legroom Considering The Price

Disadvantages: Long Queues But It's Expected And Worth It

Having never flown with a budget airline until I flew with EasyJet earlier this year, I knew it was coming but I didn't know what to expect.

We were flying to Fargo, in Portugal which was a four hour flight each way. We had booked a villa and were told EasyJet were transporting us there.

The baggage allowance was 20kg's per person and only one small piece of hand luggage was allowed in board. To be honest, both on the outward and return journey, EasyJet were more than helpful in this respect and grouped us together so basically, 5 persons meant 100kg's which I though was fantastic. As it alleiviated the worry about overpacking on the return flight, as none of us had any weighing scales to weigh our luggage.

The queue to check in wad long and tedious but for the price I was expecting to suffer some prolonged delay and I think it was worth it given you're getting a cheap flight. The check in attendants were friendly and explained everything clearly. While on the plane we had far more legroom than I was expecting. Admittedly I did half expect to be sitting there with my knees touching my chin but I found the flight relaxing with enough room to stretch my legs a little. The flight attendants were helpful and tried their best to accomodate aby requests and kept us informed throughout. The pilot also spoke a few times and made me feel confident flying with them.

The return flight was identical and I have no issues or hesitations about flying with EasyJet again. I find the staff friendly and courtious and they've certainly allayed any prior concerns I had about no frills airlines.
