Advantages: none
Disadvantages: worst airline for your holidays
This year in june we went to Spain using easy jet. This was the first time I had been on easy jet and is going to be the last time.
This was our first holiday with our 5 month old baby. We paid extra for priority boarding to avoid queues especially when we were going to take pushchair along with us. But when we reached through the security to boarding gates, it was terrible. One, the flight was delayed by half an hour. Second, once the boarding opened there was nothing like priority boarding at all!!! Everyone was going altogether.
On top of that, once we passed the boarding gate we had to go via steps to reach to the plane! Now, did easy jet never know that passengers would be using steps?? They allow the pushchair to be taken till the plane but did it never occur to them that if people are going to bring pushchair, how will they manage to get down the steps?? We had such a hard time, on one side we had our baby who was tired of waiting half an hour and wanted to sleep, on other hand my husband had to manage the handbag as well as carry the pushchair down the stairs. And it wasn't just few steps they were quiet a bit and we were jam packed with all passengers wanting to board the plane as quickly as possible. The worst thing is no one told us that we were going via steps, we never anticipated such thing as we never had any such experience especially while boarding a plane!
Once on the plane, it took nearly 15-20 mins before the doors were shut and we can have some oxygen especially at that time around year when it;s hot!
Summary: not worth a single penny

- 19/10/09 Sorry, but this is a rant about your experience and not really a review at all. In all my years of flying (several times a year) with Easyjet, I've never had cause to complain. If you ask for help carrying a puch chair they will assist |
