The first and most important tip, is try to avoid phoning Easyjet's much publicised (painted on the side of the hideous orange planes) phone number - I do not intend repeating it here and giving them unecessary publicity. Whilst it is not a premium rate number, it is a "national" number, so you could around pay 8p a minute for as long as it takes to reach the top of the queue (cunning Stelios gets a 1p per call per minute commission - perhaps more - while you are queuing!).

You should book on the net, or at least, enquire on the net if you are one of those paranoid people who won't give their credit card details over the web (actually safer than over the phone!).

Firstly, you get more information: Slelios's poor reservations clerks are on commission of about 60p per passenger (lets face it, I got more for writing THIS!) so are in a hurry to get rid of you and on to the next.

Secondly, and most importantly, you get £5 off per return flight if you book on the web!

Final money-saving hint? take your own sandwiches and a hip-flask, of course!
