Advantages: Cheap (if booking early), Friendly

Disadvantages: Unpredictable arrival times, Overpriced (for last minute booking)

Now, before i start (ok before i get going) let me state my main fact.

Easyjet is exactly what it says it is!

Now, before you think i'm some Easyjet basher, this is not true.
I am frequent Easyjet flyer, i fly for personal, not work-related reasons. Over the past five years i have used Easyjet more than 30 times.

I have set out what i think are some basic things that all those new to the EZY experience should note

1) Book Early - You get what you pay more and no more, so dont leave it till the last minute and pay three times what you could have paid three weeks earlier.
(This is Easyjet's number one rule and I'm sure EVERYONE already knows it!!)

2) Do not try to predict your arrival time - In my experience you either arrive absurdly early or frustrating late, rarely at your alloted time. This is forgiven however as the flights are cheap.

3) If you're fussy about where you sit, arrive early, if not dont bother coming till an hour before take-off - The priority by numbers thing is abit annoying if you've long legs, luckily i'm small and like sitting in the aisle so i'm strictly and late check-in kinda girl.

4) If you have kids it doesnt matter when you check in because you get to go on first anyway!

5) Always buy food/drink before you board (preferably even before you enter the airport) - like all planes EZY is not cheap and the no frills means no free drink! - (one pilot on a flight from Edinburgh to London actually had the plane in hysterics by commenting on the "extortionately priced drinks available from the Easykiosk" hee hee)

6) Finally do not expect too much (or too little)

Easyjet planes are clean, tidy, modern and the staff are attentive.

My only qualm is the unpredictability of arrival, however, if you can look past this and always give or take half an hour you too will grow to love EZY just as i do!!!!

I have never used them to be honest, can't afford a bus these days, let alone a plane! Great review!

I prefer ryanair in my experience. Easyjet seem to have bad timekeeping.

Fair comment, I have used them and ryanair for quick trips, they do the job, although ryanair (in my experience) is not so frustratingly late
