Advantages: Gets you staright to Egypt

Disadvantages: Food, no TV on back of seats, not comfortable and a lot of delays

I just recently went on Egypt air and it was one of the worst airlines I have ever been on. I flew from London to Cairo to Sharm-El-Sheikh and then back to London.

On every flight I went on there was always a delay. My flight back to London was delayed for 40 minutes because one of the security guards had lost the keys for the boarding door.

The food was absolutely horrible; they served fish and beef only. I tried the beef and was just disgusting and all I ate throughout the whole flight was the bread roll which they served with the food. The service was just average and wasn’t very special. On my way back to London I asked for beef and I couldn’t believe they had run out and again I just ate the bread rolls. If you’re a vegetarian then you won’t enjoy the food.

I thought that every plane would have TV seats on the back of each seat. But Egypt air did not even have the TV's at the back of the seats. These flights reminded me of when I went on British Airways in 1994 as it was quite similar and would rate the 1994 British airways flight better. They showed one movie in the flight and I did enjoy the movie which they showed. The TV screens were so far away and couldn’t see much of the movie. I watched a film called Goal which I was enjoying, half way through the movie it just turned off; they reset the movie and showed it all the way from the beginning. The sound worked on some seats.

I wasn’t at all comfortable during any of the flights, the seats reminded me of the seats on coaches and there wasn’t much leg room. This airline has got to make major improvements. The only good thing about Egypt Air is that it takes you straight to Egypt without any stops.

I was sitting in economy class but I went into first class to see what it was like and it just looked boring as there was just more leg room and comfortable seats. The first class looked like economy class on Emirates.

The price of the airline tickets werent too bad but there were other airlines who were cheaper but they would make stop overs.

I’ve been on Emirates, British airways; P.I.A and Egypt air has been the worst experience and will never go on this airline again. I cannot recommend Egypt Air.

Summary: Find another airline

I have bad memories of flights with them when I was a child. You have a typo in the title by the way.

My husband uses them all the time and has no problems. Sure, they're not the best, but they're definitely not the worst! 40 minutes delay is almost nothing compared to many. If you want a vegetarian meal on any flight, you have to reserve it when you book the tickets. Sue
