I've flown between the US/Canada and Israel many times with TWA, Tower, and El Al among others, and El Al provided me with the best experience. El Al is the safest airline in the world, and that is evident as soon as you get to the airport. Their security agents are ex-army special forces, and they ask you a million questions, which can be intimidating at times but really makes you feel safer in the end. Imagine the scene... you board a British Airways flight and are greeted by smiling, helpful flight staff in football shirts and shell suits.
