24 hour Etihad flight delay, a string of lies, flight diversion, virtually no refreshments, with only one proper meal during the delay, which was with Etihad airways from London to Kuala Lumpur via Abu Dhabi. In my experience they are the worst airline I have ever had the misfortune to fly with... search "etihad complaints" online for an idea of more airline reviews.
etihad has quite modern aircraft and a good inflight entertainment system when it worked- which wasnt often, as the maintenance was so poor. Abu Dhabi airport where Etihad change planes, is also a 1 star airport in my experience.

LHR-BNE and SYD-LHR Feb 2009 Superficially Etihad is comparible with Singapore Airlines, Cathay Pacific, etc. However the actual customer experience leaves a lot to be desired.
