Advantages: the flight to larnaca was ok, no delay

Disadvantages: the return flight was dreadful

we flew with eurocypria airlines on 21st june this year from london gatwick, we were due to fly to larnaca at 15 55 and we were on time, which i was quite surprised about as i had read lots of reviews from people about this airline and was expecting long delays as people had described. so i gave them a chance and was quite happy but how wrong i was........
our return flight to london gatwick was at 18 50. we went to check in at larnaca airport, were q-ing for about 20mins in the horrible heat, it was packed and there was no airconditioning. then the converer belt broke so we were waiting for about another twenty mins after we had got our boardin cards etc for our bags to be weighed. we were then told we had a three hour delay and would board at 22:00 and would fly out at 22:40. 23:15 came and we hadn't even been called to board, then our flight number went off the screen. so i went to the gate to see what was happening and to get some answers and people were starting to board into the room. the flight wasnt called out, so if i hadnt of gone 2 c wot was happening we would have still been sitting there none the wiser. we then had to wait for the plane 2 be cleaned. the people on the desk were crap, didnt appoligise 4 the delay or nothing and they were also very grumpy. we finally flew at 12:15am after a 5 and a half hour delay. i was quite worried about all the reviews i had read before we flew with them, and was willing to give them a chance, but they were absolute rubbish and i wouldnt fly with them again!!!

Summary: this airline is rubbish, i wouldnt fly with them again, very unsatisfactory!!!

To explain: Having recently completed my Master of Science in Marketing degree at Manchester Business School (UK) by writing a dissertation about online reviews, I have been asked by the school to continue my academic research.

As a result, I am looking to interview additional online reviewers who are willing to talk to me about their experiences. To be eligible to participate, you would need to fulfil the following requirements:

1) You must have had a particularly negative service (not product!) experience, for example during airline travel, a hotel stay, car repair, etc.

2) You must have written and published an online review about this experience

If you fulfil these requirements, I would like to talk to you, ideally via Internet chat (you may choose the medium, AOL/Windows messenger, Skype etc.). The interview would take no more than 1 hour, and very likely less than that. We could arrange and/or split sessions at your convenience. Naturally, all data provided by you would be treated with confidentiality and you would remain anonymous.

Based on the analysis of the interviews, advice will be given to companies
on how to improve customer service and on how to deal with dissatisfied service customers. Therefore, by contributing to my research YOU can help make the world a little bit better for service customers everywhere!

On top of that, Manchester Business School would provide you with a £10 Amazon gift voucher as a sign of appreciation for your efforts.

Welcome to dooyoo. It would help if you wrote offline in something such as Word so you could take more time over your review and spell check it first - it would save typos such as "converer belt".

A good description of your bad experience, try breaking your review into some paragraphs which would make it easier to read. Have a read of others reviews to get a feel of how to write a good review. Welcome to dooyoo, I hope you enjoy your time here, Helen
