J+Johnson FlyGlobespan
... to Halifax, 29th August 2009. We paid extra for business class seats, and these were decent value for the extra legroom, but my footrest fell off. The interior was obviously the original from the early 1980s, so some seats were falling apart and it was difficult from many seats to view the movies. The flight was delayed by about 2 hours, which seems to be as near to on time as this airline gets. Even in the business class seats, pillows, blankets and headsets cost extra, as did every drink except water (from a fountain near the toilets) and tea/coffee. The meal was just plain bad. The return flight (5/6th September) was also delayed, and this time we were in econo...

bkecky Flybe
... have used flybe on a number of occasions to fly between Avignon and Southampton and Paris and Birmingham, and so far I have to say I have yet to experience any problems with my flight. I use Flybe when Ryanair s flights have not been on the day I wanted and although Ryanair s pricing has been creeping up Flybe are a little more expensive and if you book in advance you won t get as cheaper flight as if you book with Ryanair in advance. The main advantage that I find with Flybe is that you get up to 20kgs luggage allowance instead of the usual 15kg with Ryanair. This is great for me because I travel with a backpack so to get over 20kg in it would be a real challenge. The...

... flew with FlyGlobeSpan in September 2007 from London Gatwick to Vancouver. When I originally booked the flights I had not heard of FlyGlobeSpan but they were the cheapest flights I could find so I booked them anyway prepared for the discomfort that travelling low cost entails. On arrival at the airport we checked in with ease and boarded the plane on time. The planes are basic with television screens at various points throughout the plane (if you are short, like me, and sat in the middle seat then you are unlikely to see the screens). You need headphones in order to hear the movies/programmes but your own personal ones should work. My inability to see didn t bother me ...
