Onur Air:
... recently booked a cheap last minute holiday to Turkey and paid a total of £660 for two adults. £30 of this was for transfers and £70 for the hotel, which left around £550 for the flights. Onur airline is a Turkish company and the staff which were crewing on our flights were all Turkish and could be hard to understand. The actual check in and boarding went smoothly enough on both sides with no delays. Once onboard ... Read the full review: In The Air With Onur by ChrisChoice |

Thai Airways ... experience of Thai Airways ( Pure Silk , as the slogan would have it) is from an internal flight only perspective, so my review might seem a bit limited. Apologies in advance. I ve used Thai 4 times on internal flights to and from Bangkok to Chiang Mai, which is about 3 hundred miles north of Bangkok, to attend conferences. Naturally I had to get to Bangkok first to take a connecting flight. The check-in staff are lovely; smiles as big as miles, and a twinkle in the eye too. The things about the domestic flights I noticed is that they use up-to-date modern airliners even for such a short trip, unlike say KLM who sometimes use older turbo-prop planes from Birmingham... Onur Air ... flew to Turkey with Onur air this year. I will start by adressing the positive points. The staff were lovely the hosts and hostesses were lovely with everyone on board and could not do enough for you. I was flying with my five year old son and one year old daughter and they made a great fuss of the children everytime they went past. The flight was good and we all felt safe and secure through the flight. On the way back they showed videos on the televisions which were basically like turkish adverts burt it kept the kids enteartained a lot better than on the way there. The outbound and return flights departed promptly and there was communication from the captain regularl... Read the full review: Not an outright success but not bad for the money by lisaocal |

Aer Arann ... have to say, when I flew with Aer Arann a week ago today, it was simply effortless. Aer Arann focus on 40 different routes connecting Ireland, France and the UK. Most, if not all of the planes are around half the size of a British Airways 737. Not to mention that they are all run by propellors too. Checking in wasn t to much of a problem. Although I did spend about 20 minutes blocking the que as the check-in person was looking for forms. (Since I was flying on my own at under 16, then forms were needed). Anyway, once that hassle was done, from then on everything was perfect. From the gates opening to leaving the ground on the plane, there was only about a 15 minute gap...
