Premium Review Flybe: Cheap and easy (543 words)

I have used flybe on a number of occasions to fly between Avignon and Southampton and Paris and Birmingham, and so far I have to say I have yet to experience any problems with my flight. I use Flybe when Ryanair's flights have not been on the day I wanted and although Ryanair's pricing has been creeping up Flybe are a little more expensive and if ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Wonderful Little Airline! (195 words)

I flew with Flybe from Exeter to Amsterdam in February 2008. I flew with my brother, for a short break back to The Netherlands. The flight itself was delayed by about an hour and a half. Although this was annoying, because we had an onward train to catch, the airline staff did a very good job at keeping us informed. They told us where ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Flybe: Cheap flights to rival Ryanair (204 words)

We recently used Flybe for a trip to Northern Ireland, flew return from Manchester for around £35 (this was booked a fair few months in advance hence the cheap price!). The booking process was smooth, however about a month later we had an email to say our flight home was cancelled and we had to take another one, which was a bit inconvenient but we ...  Read the complete review

I have flown on flybe a few times recently, because I have been going round cities looking at universities- I most recently flew down to Gatwick from Newcastle. My experience with flybe has been extremely positive I must say. The planes that I took were never late, even the late on ones which are notoriously late (due to 15 minute ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Flybe...spend extra and get a better airline (502 words)
by - written on 25/05/09 (Useful, 11 readings)

I flew with Flybe.com on Xmas Eve 2007 and was massively disappointed with the airline and the service received. When I arrived at Glasgow airport I looked at the departures board and noticed that my flights to Birmingham were showing but that they were flicking between destinations under the same flight number and showing as Norwich then ...  Read the complete review

I have flown flybe a number of times and have found them to be reasonable. The staff are friendly and check in was very quick and efficient. One of the planes I flew on was a BAe 146. The plane itself looked quite well and modern. The seats were set up with three seats each side of the row and had a cheaper leathery feel to them. They were also wider ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review FlyBe No Frills Airline (308 words)
by - written on 19/03/09 (Very useful, 171 readings)

FLYBE AIRLINE-No Frills I needed to get to Newcastle very quickly so I decided to fly up there. The only airline that flew from London Gatwick to Newcastle was Flybe Airline. This is a no frills airline and as it only took me one hour to fly up so I did not mind that it was a little basic. The seats were fairly comfortable and the only ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Flybe (265 words)
by - written on 16/02/09 (Useful, 38 readings)
Rating:

Flybe is a low budget, no frills airline that mainly provides flights around the UK, and mainland Europe, however, their international destinations are limited to only a couple of countries. I book my flight to Ireland with this airline and instead of going to a travel agent, I decided to book online for 2 reasons, 1) it is a more convient way to ...  Read the complete review

I flew shorthaul on this airline from Southampton to Scotland a couple of years ago and can only be positive about the whole experience. The booking was easy, the price was right, the check in was quick, flight was fine and the whole experience did what it needed to. The staff were pleasant and helpful, which makes a bad experience a ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Don't Flybe! (807 words)

I have flown with the flybe on several occasions now with mixed results. Flybe is one of Europe's leading budget airlines with 170 routes to 55 destinations throughout Europe. To see exactly where they fly to I suggest you go to their web site at www.flybe.com. Booking. ******* Booking a ticket with Flybe is very simple if a ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Good service (165 words)
by - written on 25/01/09 (Useful, 29 readings)
Rating:

Initially I only booked Flybe because they had been recommended by a travel website I was using. Unlike some other budget airlines, the service was basic but you didn't feel like they were trying to sting you for every extra penny they could-it was just no frills, which is fine, I don't want a bag of pretzels on a 30min trip. When almost ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Flybe: flybe, not really that cheap (212 words)
by - written on 07/01/09 (Very useful, 22 readings)
Rating:

Flybe claim to be one of the uk's cheapest airlines when in actual fact, they are far from it. In my experience, even with extremely advance booking by about 5 months, the cost has somehow escalated beyond my belief. Sure, the flight itself might be cheap but once you have had to pay for your insurance and baggage, it gets a bit daft and you are ...  Read the complete review

I am sitting in the tiny airport lounge at Benbecula in The Outer Hebrides. Behind me a weekend of pure delight, I have walked on sun drenched deserted beaches, clambered over seaweed strewn rocks to vantage points where baby grey seals with as much curiosity towards me as I had towards them swam and wrestled in the waves of the incoming tide. ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Flybe NEVER AGAIN! (289 words)

Can I give minus stars? Flybe has got to be the worst airline I have ever travelled on. I live in the Isle of Man and they have us by the throat, literally. I travelled this August (2008) to Liverpool the first problem was with the check in huge long queue then even though I had booked with a travel agent to save the internet ticket nightmare ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Better Safe Than Sorry ! (435 words)

I am basing this review purely on an experience very recently with flybe. Upon arrival at the airport, the check-in desk had a member of staff there well in advance, so things were looking good. However, they pretty much lazed around before opening it when they were meant to, although they could of before-hand with a growing queue. I ...  Read the complete review

I visit France two or three times a year and usually travel there by ferry then drive to my destination from Caen. However, last year my husband had to be in France a couple of weeks before I needed to be there, so it was decided that he would take the ferry and I would fly out a week or so later. I have only ever flown from Heathrow or ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Flybe - prices rising and service plummeting (172 words)
by - written on 23/06/08 (Useful, 54 readings)
Rating:

I have a convenience factor with Flybe, as they fly from the nearest airport to me. However, given the choice I would prefer to fly with another carrier. I remember a day when Flybe were affordable and offered good customer service. Those days seem behind them now as prices are crept up and up in recent years. Granted that the price of oil has ...  Read the complete review

FlyBe is a budget airline that flies numerous intercity and regional routes in the UK and western Europe. Premium Review Flybe, cheap flights with poor customer service (491 words)

Flybe, they might be cheap but they lack customer service. I’ve just returned from Jersey flying over with Flybe from Southampton. This was the first time I’ve flown with Flybe and I wasn’t really impressed by the service they offer. My wife and I fancied a visit to Jersey and living not far from Southampton airport we decided to fly ...  Read the complete review
