... ve just travelled to Alicante with Jet2.com. For a low-cost airline I am truly impressed with the service received from the ground staff and the flight attendants at Jet2.com. I myself used to work as a flight attendant for Virgin Atlantic some ten years ago and ashamed to say have held a snobbery towards chartered and low cost airlines. I have travelled with Monarch and Thomas Cook who were ok but Jet2 as a low cost airline were brilliant. I think I was expecting a coach trip experience and was pleasantly surprised. Yes you have to pay for your drinks and snacks but this did not bother me as the hot drinks were really nice and not the standard pot of brewed tea ...

I had several queries regarding my flight, all of which were answered clearly and helpfully, both on the phone and when arriving at Leeds/Bradford Airport. The online check in facility on the website was so easy to use, and saved a lot of time when dropping off our luggage, allowing us to relax before our flight.
