This airline should be called Liberia!. They overbook, bounce you off a flight and deny compensation claims made under 261/2004 are payable. Never fly with them if you can possibly avoid it and if you have to, do not expect to get on the flight you booked and paid for. If you do make a complaint you find that their online complaints page will time you out before you have completed all of the details they require you to type (nice touch Liberia!) so make sure you type your complaint into Word first so you can paste it in. And then, you find that they will a) not reply for 6 months, b) deny their legal responsibilities c) make unsatisfactory offers when threatened with legal action. Bearing in mind that the ATUC is toothless , once Liberia have your money you are stuffed if they deny you boarding. Take it from me, life is too short to have to go through the aggravation of trying to get your legal rights from this bunch of cowboys. And now I hear that BA are talking about taking them over - presumeanbly for advice on baggage handling at Terminal 5 - what a joke.
