Indian AirlinesNewest Review: ... I find I like a more personal service. The airline uses Boeing aircraft on there long haul flights and have a fabulous safety record. The safety briefing is in English and I felt very secure that the crew were confident in there abilities. The aircraft on this particular flight was quite new and had video play back services on each seat. I have heard that on some of there routes older aircraft are used which do not have this facility it would be worth checking before confirming your booking. The staff were very presentable and guided me to my seat where I got myself ready for take off. I wasn't so sure on the food but too my relief both m... more |

I have flown with Indian Airlines a number of times from Heathrow to New York I always used this airline because it was usually one hundred pounds cheaper than its nearest rival. The airline itself has always treated me well, the customer service call centre is very helpful when purchasing your travel tickets and I know I could use the website but I find I like a more personal service. The food served is good however the standards like seat quality, tv/video services etc.. are not like other hiclass flights but really good if you are looking for a little cheap flight. The first international flight I travelled was Indain Airlines which got cancelled due to too much fog. I love travelling a lot. I use to travel frequently all over the world. Half of them to India & subcontinet. I have traveling experience with most of the airlines. I do traveled using Indian Airlines many times. It's not posh kind of airline services but very economic in comparison to others. The services are very ordinary. Air Hostess are not attractive as in Jet Airlines or others & not too caring as well. They just fulfilling duties somehow. I am not against these but most of them are like that. Yes Food served in board is of good quality, specially vegetarian food. I like that, but there is very limited entertainment in after boarding. Yes regarding flight ... Read the complete review

My wife and I travelled on Indian Airlines on 14 Days' Air-Pass travelling the length and breadth of India. It was a wonderful and cost effective experience. The flights were on time. We were greeted in the cabin with sari-clad smiling hostesses. We were offered sweets before take off and drinks (fruit juice) during the flights. No baggage was ever mislaid by the handlers or lost by the airline. It was a joy using Indian Airlines. I know there are even better Airlines in India but they do not offer Air-Pass fares. On the whole Indian Airlines offered good value for money and service with ... Read the complete review
